Third watch for analytical purposes. Trying to upper my filmmaking-knowledge game. Still amazed by this movie. The perfection of the dream scenes, this beautiful randomness. The chemistry between the two and every character in general feels so so real. Sometimes weird things happen but it’s just as it is in real life. The most realistic thing to do in a movie is making it non-perfect since that’s what real life is. Michel Gondry understands that. I didn’t expect it at all but I still find new things the third time around. I thought I’ve seen it all the last time but this is, again, the most rewatchable movie for me. It really didn’t feel long. I genuinly have a good entertaining time with this anytime I watch it. I can see myself rewatching this another gazillion times in the future. This is still one of my all-time favorite movies.
